Klairs Review : Supple Preparation Unsented Toner, Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop & Vitamin E Mask

Hi Ya'll! Today I will be doing a review on the 3 of Klairs popular products I recived from WISHTREND!
After using this 3 products, I'm supposedly able to achieve a glass skin or glowy skin.

I have been trying all 3 products out at the same time for 2 weeks consistently, and will be sharing my thoughts and review on them.

Lets start with Toning! I have been using the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner and to put it shortly, I LOVE IT. Of course there will be reasons to why I am enjoying this product so much. But before that, can we stop to admire this beautiful and classy packaging that I comes in. Well I personally think its a lot prettier than the Original Supple Preparation Toner (haha).

So down to why I like this product,

1) It's Simplicity.
The toner's does not have any additional purpose to it. And you may think it's a bad thing, like then why do I even use it? Well it's to basically serve as an ordinary toner. To balance out my PH after I cleanse my face and to prepare it for the next step. With a simple toner, you do not have to worry about it not sitting well with your next skin care step and it will go well with any skincare regime.

2) It's Super Moisturizing
This toner feels like an essence omg! It has a thicker texture compare to the regular watery toner. After applying it on your face with a cotton pad, you can still feel a thin layer of moisture on your skin. It's a great feeling.

I will recommend this toner highly to those of you who are looking for a fuss free and moisturizing toner. Mainly to those with dry skin for sure, or those normal/ combination skin types who don't have acne.

 I rate this product a 5/5!

Next step in the routine will be SERUM!
I've been using the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop, and yes you have probably heard of this highly raved product before. It is the very popular and well loved Vitamin C serum from Klairs.  So when I first started using it, I thought that it was going to be like a serum consistency (more watery base), however I was quite surprised that it was actually of a more oily consistency (feels like a lighter version of my Boscia Tsubaki Oil). Well being an Oil lover like myself of course this is great news and I am loving the added moisture. However I know there are people who do not enjoy the oil consistency and have concerns that it may be too heavy on the skin.
So after using it both day and night for 14 days, I have very mixed feeling about it.

Let's start of with what I love about it.

1) It is effective
Of course what matters the most is that if it worked. And I'm happy to say it did lighten my scar marks (picture below). It did take some time before I was able to see the scars lighten, maybe about 9 days later? I mean that's quite fair as it take 14 days for a skin cell turnover.

2) It is moisturizing
Hell ya! As it is a oil type of product it definitely provided a lot of added moisture for my skin.

What makes me have mixed feeling is the fact that I have used a product that worked faster in comparison to the Klairs Vitamin Drop. But that product is almost 5 times pricer than the Klairs one (kinda explains why I don't buy it anymore lol). So although the Klairs might take alittle longer time to show results, it still did show results which is what matters! :)

I would rate this 4/5!

Lastly, we are finishing up our routine by moisturizing with the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask.
This to me is a 3-in-1 Multi purpose mask, which makes it even more worth it!

So here's what I love about it,
1) It's a 3-in-1 Moisturizer.
I can use it in the day time as a regular moisturizer, at night as a sleeping mask and on bad days, a emergency wash off pack. (check out my review video for full demonstration)

I rate it 5/5 for versatility and high moisture!
Overall I think all 3 items I've tried are super high quality and worked effectively as their claims suggests.
My personal favourite out of the 3 has to be the TONER.

Etude House Leopard Runway Play Eyeshadow Palette

Hi ya’ll! Let’s jump into this new product Etude House has sent me. YES, it’s a warm toned eyeshadow palette! Side story, I was in Etude House the other day and this palette was the first thing that caught my eye! Firstly, this palette is significantly different from all their currently existing palettes. It has a more professional and ang moh feel to it?  Like if you placed this in Sephora I would have thought it was some other brand!
Let’s dig into the palette and I’ll share more on the quality of these shadows, it’s pigmentation and the looks I created with it.

Let’s start off with the packaging.
Personally, it’s not my favorite. I think it lacks a certain classiness to it, but then again can’t really argue with it being priced so reasonably.
Overall it’s sturdy, holds well so that’s an ok for me.

Opening up this palette gets me so excited all the time as I see my favorite shades all laid out clearly. I will go in depth to share with ya'll my favorite shades later.

So there are a total of 15 shades in this palette. 7 mattes, 5 Satin & 3 Glitter.

I have always been a fan of the Etude House Glitter eyeshadow formulation since way back. I recall not really enjoying their mattes as I found them not pigmented enough compared to western brands.
However, after using this palette, it is clear that Etude House has UP THEIR GAME because all 3 formulas are now beautiful and comparable to western brands sold in Sephora.
Their mattes are smooth, pigmented and easy to work with. Their satins are beautiful, some duo chrome and great for beginners who are looking for that ease in application. And not to say their Glitter formula never fails to WOW me every time.

TIME FOR SWATCHES!

Here are a few of the swatches of the matte shades.
If I didn't tell you its Etude House's palette, you would have probably thought its Violet Voss or UD.
I mean look at how smooth that formulation is.

I mean just look at those swatches, I think it explains everything. When applied with fingers on the eyelid, it looks exactly the same. BEAUTIFUL.

My favorite part about this palette is the selection of shades. It includes all my favorite colors, Pink, Orange, Warm Brown, Brick Red & Glitter (haha I know it's not a shade).
It has been my go-to palette which allows me to create various versatile looks for both day and night.

So here's to share some of the looks I did with this palette.

-Romantic Date Night-

-Pop Colour Look-

Overall,  this palette has really shown me that Etude House has totally up its game when it comes to the quality of its eyeshadow. I would really recommend you guys to pop by the stores and give ita swatch yourself.

I give it a 5/5! IN LOVE!

Some By Mi AHA BHAPHA 30 Days Miracle Toner Review

Hey ya'll! Some By Mi has kindly send 3 products my way and I have put them all to a 14 Days Miracle Challenge so I can give you guys the most accurate review.
Let's start of by giving you guys a bit of intro on the brand.
Some By Mi is a Korean Beauty Brand that focuses their products based on natural ingredients.

Check out my full review video here!

I'll be reviewing the 3 products separately with full details of my experience.

Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner

Apply on cotton pad and cleanse face after washing.

OR

As a treatment pack:
-soak 2 cotton pad with toner and leave on face for 15- 30 minutes before removing.

Yes yes yes! By far my favorite AHA, BHA product. The water consistency of the toner makes it refreshing and easy to use. 3 days into using the product and I see my face has a little bit of glow to it. A week into using, I could tell that hyper pigmentations on my skin were definitely lightening up! So amazing right! I was especially delighted to see that as it was taking effect just a week into using.
To share a side story with you guys, I actually was using the Cosrx one step cleansing sheet (super popular) diligently for about a month but there was close to no results. I was quite disappointed as I heard lots of great review on it.
Tip is to make sure to moisturize your face after using the toner as it can get a little bit drying due to the AHA, BHA ingredients. Really would recommend this to all my readers with combination/ oily/ pore issues/ scars/ untextured.

Pros:
- Helps increase speed of removing scar
-Pores looked significantly smaller
-Smoother skin!

Cons:
- Maybe a bit drying on skin

Some By Mi AHA BHAPHA 30 Days Miracle Cleansing Bar

A easy to use facial bar that is great for combination/ problematic skin types. It foams up easily and really deep cleanse the face. I feel like every pore is polished and the face is sparkling clean. May be a bit drying for dry skin types, so if you have dry skin, I would recommend you use this only 2-3 times per week.

Pros:
- Deep cleanse the face
-Helps prevent pimples

Cons:
-Can be slightly drying

Overall, I really enjoyed using this face wash and will choose to use it on alternate days instead!

Some By Mi AHA BHAPHA 30 Days Miracle Cleansing Bar
In my YouTube video review, I actually stated that this moisturizer was just average, however, I actually grew to really like this moisturizer! It is soooo moisturizing for a water base moisturizer and I was not expecting that. My terms of very moisturizing would be to wake up feeling like your skin drank a whole load of water.

Pros:
- Surprising moisturizing for a water based moisturizer
-Light weight and great for day time

Cons:
-None!

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask & Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay REVIEW

Hey ya'll! Today I will reviewing the 2 popular clay masks from Origins!
Origins is a brand that focuses a lot on skincare using natural ingrients as well as science. I personally have always liked the brand as a whole as I respect how they are not just selling, but making a conscious effort to keep our planet green. So the stars of today post will be their award winning Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask & Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay.

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask, 100ml

This is how it looks like once applied. It looks very creamy and not like a clay mask at all.

And this is how the mask looks like after roughly10 mins. You can tell that it looks very waxy almost like a film of hardened plastic instead of clay.

Pros:
-Not drying on the skin

 Cons:
-Does not help with oil control/reduce sebum
-Difficult to wash off
-Skin does not feel clean after

I got this mask as I heard a lot of hype on it and wanted to give it a try. I personally am not the biggest fan as I feel like it does not perform like a regular clay mask. The texture of the mask feels very different compared the regular clay masks I use. Basically, it doesn't feel like clay at all. It feels like an artificial clay with the grey coloring for visuals. The texture of it is very wet and slimy, almost like wax. Upon drying down, the mask is very tight on the skin as you can probably tell from the photos above. I would say that it feels great for firming, but I wouldn't say the same for sebum control and pore clarifying. The mask dries down really quickly and the oil from my face seeks through it really quickly. The mask was really difficult to wash off as well as it had a very waxy consistency. A good yet bad part is that your face actually feels very moisturized upon washing it off. I deem that as a bad thing as this means my pores don't feel squeaky clean. Overall, I just feel that this mask does not perform up to the standard for it's price and my other clay masks could have easily done better.

Nah, I think this product is too over-rated.

Next up, let's talk about this mask. And let me give you a heads up, I LOVE IT.

Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay, 100ml

Pros:
-Skin feels very retexturized
-Pores feels clean!
-Easy to wash off
-Smells great!

 Cons:
-None!

By far one of the BEST clay masks I have used! I love how it is a dual function mask, helping me clear the sebum and oil while retexturizing my dull flaky skin! There are tons and I mean tons, of little exfoliating beads in the masks which will help exfoliate when I'm washing the mask on. The beads were so gentle on my skin, so I was quite surprised of how clean it left my skin to be. I like to leave my mask on for about 20 minutes before washing it off. The rinsing process is much easier compared to the Charcoal mask, takes me roughly 2 mins? The first thing I notice once the mask is washed off, is how moisture my skin feels! Amazing how it helped clean and scrub, yet leaving it so moisturized. I would definitely recommend this masks to dry skin folks out there who are looking for a clay mask that will help reduce sebum but not dry them out.

FOR SURE!
