Etude House Leopard Runway Play Eyeshadow Palette

Hi ya’ll! Let’s jump into this new product Etude House has sent me. YES, it’s a warm toned eyeshadow palette! Side story, I was in Etude House the other day and this palette was the first thing that caught my eye! Firstly, this palette is significantly different from all their currently existing palettes. It has a more professional and ang moh feel to it?  Like if you placed this in Sephora I would have thought it was some other brand!
Let’s dig into the palette and I’ll share more on the quality of these shadows, it’s pigmentation and the looks I created with it.

Let’s start off with the packaging.
Personally, it’s not my favorite. I think it lacks a certain classiness to it, but then again can’t really argue with it being priced so reasonably.
Overall it’s sturdy, holds well so that’s an ok for me.

Opening up this palette gets me so excited all the time as I see my favorite shades all laid out clearly. I will go in depth to share with ya'll my favorite shades later.

So there are a total of 15 shades in this palette. 7 mattes, 5 Satin & 3 Glitter.

I have always been a fan of the Etude House Glitter eyeshadow formulation since way back. I recall not really enjoying their mattes as I found them not pigmented enough compared to western brands.
However, after using this palette, it is clear that Etude House has UP THEIR GAME because all 3 formulas are now beautiful and comparable to western brands sold in Sephora.
Their mattes are smooth, pigmented and easy to work with. Their satins are beautiful, some duo chrome and great for beginners who are looking for that ease in application. And not to say their Glitter formula never fails to WOW me every time.

TIME FOR SWATCHES!

Here are a few of the swatches of the matte shades.
If I didn't tell you its Etude House's palette, you would have probably thought its Violet Voss or UD.
I mean look at how smooth that formulation is.

I mean just look at those swatches, I think it explains everything. When applied with fingers on the eyelid, it looks exactly the same. BEAUTIFUL.

My favorite part about this palette is the selection of shades. It includes all my favorite colors, Pink, Orange, Warm Brown, Brick Red & Glitter (haha I know it's not a shade).
It has been my go-to palette which allows me to create various versatile looks for both day and night.

So here's to share some of the looks I did with this palette.

-Romantic Date Night-

-Pop Colour Look-

Overall,  this palette has really shown me that Etude House has totally up its game when it comes to the quality of its eyeshadow. I would really recommend you guys to pop by the stores and give ita swatch yourself.

I give it a 5/5! IN LOVE!

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow Swatches + Review

Hey ya'll! Today I'll be sharing with you my Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadow collection!
This post is less of a review but more of a helpful swatch feast to assist with your buying decision. I'll also input my thoughts and recommendations. Hope you will find my swatches helpful!

Here is my take of the breakdown of each shade.
( Shades with indication * is a Favourite Must Have!)

Row 1
*Hiney- Have glitter bits (not as many or big as Ritz) but has a light champagne base. It is like a more in your face glitter version of Sequin.
WeenieNude Champagne, smooth metallic shade without huge chunks of glitter in it
DGAFWarm Bronze shade, infused with large specks of golden sparkles.
*RitzGreat as a shadow topper as it is super glittery (large and super lots of glitter) and will make your eye look pop! Its base colour is almost transparent and you can only see the glitter when applied. I am obsessed with it!

Row 2
White RabbitMetallic Burnt Orange/Red shade
*MuseChampagne leaning pink, smooth metallic shade without huge chunks of glitter in it
*SequinNude champagne (in between Weeine and Muse), with large specks of pink/gold glitter. Very shimmery and pops from a far! Beautiful!

MittensWarm matte brown shade

Row 4

Drift-

Here is a look I did with only Colourpop Supershock shadows.
I did a super glittery champagne pink look for Christmas!

Colourpop super shocks are one of my favourite formulas of shadows. The shimmer/glitter ones will be easier to work with as compared to the matte ones. I still get the matte ones as I really enjoy the colour and the longevity of these shadows on my lids. They apply best with fingers!

Colourpop does international shipping, so yes they ship directly to Singapore! Free shipping for purchase over $60 USD. I always aim for the big sales before I make my purchase.
My purchase with Colourpop has always been hustle free and I'll give it 2 thumbs up!

Look at those adorable paw prints~

Ritz-Great as a shadow topper as it is super glittery (large and super lots of glitter) and will make your eye look pop! Its base colour is almost transparent and you can only see the glitter when applied. I am obsessed with it!

Hiney- Also have glitter bits (not as many or big as Ritz) but has a light champagne base. It is like a more in your face glitter version of Sequin.

Glitz- A beautiful mauve shade of matte shade

Shiny- A red based brown shade with small glitter mixed it. When applied to lids, the shine is not visible. I would say this is the most common shade out of the 4 but still beautiful!

They are of course all of wonderful quality and I love them all.
They do sell the shadows as a foursome or singles. But since all the money goes to a great cause, i just got all 4! :)

ZOEVA Chocolate Blend VS Caramel Melange Palette Review

Hey ya'll! Today's review will be on my 2 Zoeva palettes and I'll be giving ya'll a comparison between the two palette. The two Zoeva Palettes I own at the moment are the COCOA BLEND & CARAMEL MELANGE palette. I am really digging these Zoeva palettes as they are now available in Sephora Singapore (in stores & online). They are also super affordable as compared to other eye shadow palettes in the market. The price range for these palettes are around $36 - $38 SGD which is pretty amazing.
Best part is that I got these babies during the Sephora 20% sales, which makes them around $28 - $30 each.

I really enjoy the sleek packaging of Zoeva Palettes. But it doesn't come with a mirror which is kind of a downside for travelling but I'm not complaining as it is a trade-off for the affordable price.

-
I wanted to do a comparison between the 2 so ya'll can see which ya'll prefer to get. But these 2 palettes caught my eye mainly because they had food related names. Cocoa and Caramel! ~

The Cocoa Blend Palette is a fairly warm palette with 4 Mattes and 6 Shimmers.
The main eye catcher here is surely the Burgundy Shade and the warm mattes.

All the shades swatches very well and are very pigmented.
I think it is a very versatile palettes with warm tones accompanied with golds, burgundy and plum.
I really like this palette and I reach for it quite often, it is also very beginner- friendly for new users.

The Caramel Melange Palette is a palette which contains 6 mattes and 4 shimmers. This palette is more interesting as it contains more unique shades which really remind me of sweet sweet caramel.

The mattes are beautiful and damn are they unique!
I really like the caramel tones in this palette, and have created very tasty looks with it.
However I would say this palette is slightly more challenging to work with as the shades running through this palette are fairly similar. Hence, you will more likely than not, create similar kind of looks as a result.

Here are the 2 palettes swatched beside each other.
You can clearly see that the Cocoa Blend Palette has more variety while the Caramel Melange Palette contains warmer, and similar tones.

In conclusion I think both palettes are beautiful and if you love eye shadows, I think you should just get both of them. The shade selection are splendid and the texture and pigmentation are up to point. As for those of you who are stuck in between choosing only one palette, here is what I suggest. If you are some one who don't have many eye shadow palette or is looking for like say your first palette, I would recommend you the Cocoa Bland palette as it allows for more versatility and looks. But if you're someone who already has many mainstream palettes and is looking for something different to add into your collection, the Caramel palette is for you!

Of course!
I look forward to collecting more palettes from Zoeva because they are just beautiful!

Too Faced is such a adorable brand which has amazing products. This palette is such a well know palette that many have already own, but if you are one who is still considering and contemplating, this review is for you!

Here are some sexy close up shots!
Do you see just how beautiful this is~

Here is a swatch feast for ya'll!

Brow Bone: Champagne Truffle

Look 2

-Shades on Eyelid-
Crease: White Chocolate + Salted Caramel
Outer & Inner Crease: Cheery Cordial
Brow Bone: White Chocolate

I have wanted to get my hands on this palette since when it first came out and I managed to procrastinate for like years and finally I have gotten my hands on this Chocolate Bar!
So after testing this out for a few months and coming out with various of looks, I have come to a conclusion that this palette is pretty amazing. Firstly, almost all the shades in this palette have amazing pigmentation and blend-ability. Secondly, I don't have to worry having one or two colours which I won't reach for as all the shades are everyday friendly. And thirdly, this palette smells so sweet and chocolaty, you'll just keep coming back for more.
The only down side to this palette s that I feel that it lacks a bit of warm mattes, but that's my personal preference since I like everything warm.
I think that quite sums up how I feel about this palette.
If you are a neutral everyday shade kinda girl, i think you will love this.

Pros
-All shades are everyday wearable
-Most shades have great pigmentation and blend easily
-Smells Great
-Able to create variety of looks
-Great for neutral lovers

Cons
-Not enough matte warm shades
-Some shades are stiff in the pan and get hard pan easily

Yes
I am very interested in the other palette from this Chocolate series as well~

5/5

"Indeed a holy grail for many for such a long time!"
