April Favourites 2016 + Memorable Moments

Hey ya'll! This is going to be a quick post where I will be sharing my April favourites with my lovely readers.
April has been a great month which I spent most of my time on my blog, hanging out with my close friends and looking for a job.
So before I share these moments with you, I shall first talk about the makeup and skincare must haves for this month!

Here is a flat lay of all the products I have been loving!

Click on the picture or item to read my in depth review on it!

Nyx Dark Circle Concealer Corrector
"My first orange corrector concealer and I am absolutely in love with how it hides my dark under eye better than a normal concealer."

"A BB cream that provides high coverage and gives a dewy finish! It retains your natural looking skin while covering imperfections."

"This is magic in a bottle. It moisturizes the face so well and minimizes oil production through the day. I love to layer it under my makeup to give my skin a slightly dewy finish."

Benefit Porefessional Primer
"This primer hides my pores well, blurs out imperfections and allow makeup to go on smoother. However it is important that your face is well hydrated prior to using this product."

"An affordable everyday highlight which is able to give a subtle glow to the cheeks or be built up to achieve an intense glam look."

"A great eye shadow blending brush, but definitely on the pricey end. I recommend this if you have cash to spare, or else there are many affordable dupes out there in the market."

Real Technique Setting Brush
"My current favourite brush for highlight! It is small and tapered making it easy to define a specific area to highlight. Hence, allowing that shine to pop even more!"

"A must have for all warm tone lovers out there! This is a fabulous palette which includes all your favourite warm neutrals, warm browns, oranges, reds and more warm delights. This 35 colour palette allows an endless creation of looks, from everyday makeup to full smoked out glam."

So into some of the pictures I took this April.
This month I tried to include more exercising into my lifestyle, so I visited a few nature reserves and parks.

Do ya'll enjoy this blogging style?
It has been around 1 month since I started blogging and I really enjoy blogging. But for the Month of May, I see myself bringing better quality posts for my readers.
I will also be taking an examination in May so I will be working hard on that as well! Hwaiting!
I hope you all had a great April and have a great May ahead!

Elf Baked Blush Pinktastic Review

Hey ya'll! Today's review will be on the ELF Baked Blush in Pinktastic.
I first heard about this from KathleenLights (Yes, the queen herself) and have been dying to try it since. She claims this as one of her favourite drugstore highlights, so I am here today to see if that is true.

Oh yes, this is a highlight despite it being called a "Baked Blush", it is most definitely a highlight.

Selling on Carousell at $8-$10

*This can sometimes be also found at those Watsons pop up stores you see in the middle of the mall.

The product itself has a beautiful marble effect and small steaks of pink.

Initially, I always assumed the highlight to turn out rosy, as the name suggests 'Pinktastic'. So I was a little surprised that the swatch turned out to be a light champagne colour instead.
However, I LOVE IT.
The highlight is so finely grained, making it look very natural yet still stands out well.

Here is how 'Pinktastic' looks on me.

Natural Look

Glam Look

Let me start by saying, this is everything you want in a highlight. Its powder is so fine and pigmented, giving you that beautiful glow from within. When I use a brush I get to achieve a touch of glow while using a finger would give me that highlighted goddess look.
This has officially became one of my go to highlights for sure! Love!

Pros
-Affordable
-Pigmented, bendable and just perfect!
-Easy to bring for travel (may break though)
-Able to achieve both natural and glam highlight

Cons
-Really there is nothing!

Very fair to Deep Skin Tone: -Recommended-

Very Deep Skin Tone: -Recommended-
*But it might pull a little light, hence unless you like the very highlighted look, I would recommend you to try another shade from the Elf Baked Blush Line.

Would I Repurchase
Yes. Yes. Yes.
