Innisfree Eyeshadow Collection and Review

Hey ya'll! Today's review will be on the Innisfree single eye shadows.
Innisfree is a Korean roadside brand that is very affordable.
It's price range are similar to Etude House which also carries a large variety of eye shadow shades.
The eye shadow comes in a variety of different finishes and a wide selection of shades to choose from.
They also come up with new shades which matches the new season each year so there is always something new to look forward to!

Here are some of the shades I found to show you just how wide a variety there are.

Currently I have 6 shades in my collection, consisting 3 shimmers and 3 mattes.
Sadly, not all these beautiful shades have reached our sunny shores here in Singapore. Our stores here offer a rather limited selection of shades as compared to what is available online.

Do not be little the quality of these shadows just because they are inexpensive. However, I would still highly recommend that you swatch them out in stores before purchase.

Selling in Innisfree at $7 per pan.

MSE: Mineral Single Eye shadow
MSEM: Mineral Single Eye shadow Matte

Almost Duo chrome effect of a taupe brown with shimmers.

Burgundy shimmer

Deep burgundy shade with satin finish.

Super pigmented shades.

A peachy neutral matte.

A cool tone brown matte.

A deep red toned brown matte.

These mattes swatch beautifully and are super pigmented and soft.

Innisfree also sells empty custom made palettes for you to pop in your favourite shades and bring them on the go! I think it's a great way to pack your travel must haves!

I personally prefer the Innisfree eye shadows over the Etude House shadows. Both brands offer a wide variety of shades but I feel that the Innifree shadows are of a higher quality and blends better.
I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of the matte shades as thy are really soft and buttery.
The shadows were very pigmented and lasted well on my eyelids through the day.
If you pass by one of the stores, do drop in and give them a swatch to check out their quality.

Pros
-Pigmented
-Blendable
-Does not have a lot of fall out
-Huge variety of shades and finishes
-Affordable price
-Can customize into your own palette

Cons
-Limited shades available in Singapore
-Some (a few) shades may not perform as well as others.

Yes
Since there is a limited shade selection here in Singapore, I will make sure to grab more when I have the chance to visit Korea!

5/5

"An affordable Korean roadside brand you have to check out!"

  1. Hello! I really love your blog as it is really insightful for a beginner like me:)
I would like to ask if sparkle shades are always necessary for an eyelook? Cause I am not so sure if i can pull off a sparkle eyelook:(

    1. Hey! Thanks for dropping by and I'm glad my reviews are able to help you out!
As for your question, sparkle shades are not always necessary for an eye look. However as a beginner, sparkle shades are a good start as you can do a simple yet put together look with just one sparkle shade(on the lid) and one matte shade(in the crease). Don't worry, you will pull off the look beautifully! :)

  2. I would give it a try:) But do you have any recommendations for the sparkle shade? I want to look more tone down as I am not confident in using bold colours.

    1. Since I personally have not tried many sparkle shades which are more neutral, I can't recommend any particular shade to you. However, if you do have an innisfree near you I would recommend you go in stores to check out the colours on your own to see which you will be most comfortable with :)
