Makeup Trend: Asian trying Instagram Contour

Hey ya'll! Today's post is going to be slightly different from the usual reviews.

Today I will be trying out the ever so hyped up Instagram contour and highlight trend.

This trend has been going around for quite a while, however it does not seem to be dying down anytime soon. 

So what exactly is this trend all about.

Well it is basically like this:

So as you can see from these viral photos. This trend is all about crazily contouring and highlighting you face using cream products before miraculously blending it out to look flawless and defined.

So I did a little simple diagram on highlighting and contouring to let you have a clearer picture of the high points and shadows of our face.

Here is the Before, During, After picture which I put together.

As you can see there is a definite difference from the Before and After photos.
The face is more defined and the contour and highlight gave it a better structure.

After trying this crazy contouring and highlight, I actually quite like the finish it gives. The skin looks really flawless and defined. 
However this actually takes up quite some time, so it is definitely not very practical when you have a busy schedule.
This method would be best if you are going somewhere with dim light such as a event or dinner date. 
It will help define your features and make you look flawless in those lighting.
I recommend that you use lesser of the product (especially contour), preferably around 3-5 dots at the sides of you face.
You can be slightly more generous with the highlight shade. 

However, if cream products easily crease or melt on your face, you may want to use lesser of the cream and enhance it with a powder layered over it.
