Hey ya'll! Today I'm bringing ya'll another CANMAKE review woots!
By the way, did you know that CANMAKE Singapore does frequent events which are totally mind blowing? If you are one who is skeptical of trying out new products, do look out for CANMAKE's Singapore's many events and Giveaway to try out some new products! For instance, I got this CANMAKE Marshmallow Finishing Powder at an event where they were exchanging a used up powder for a CANMAKE Marshmallow Finishing Powder. Isn't that just suberb? If you are keen on such events, be sure to visit their Facebook page here!

Such girly packaging with looks just adorable for on the go touch ups!

Create a sweet-looking face that's as soft and light ♡ as a marshmallow
Additive-free mineral formulation that's kind to your skin and can be removed with ordinary facial wash
Formulation that prevents make-up wearing off due to shininess, dullness or dryness
Contains 10 beautifying agents to prevent skin becoming dry and rough
Contains concealing powder that makes pores and unevenness in skin texture much less noticeable
(information from website)

Here are some before and after photos! It is no doubt that this powder is super mattifying and blurs out appearances of pores!

Can ya'll see the difference with just a simple powder application? It's like I used the blur and smooth tool on a half of my face. Its like magic Photoshop powder. You can see how my pores are still visible on the left side and totally blurred out on the right. It also smooth out the skin and gave it a matte look.
(Disclaimer: This is not Photoshopped lol, no blur tool used)

Pretty awesome is a good way to start is review. I think this powder does instead give your skin this marshmallow finish where it's very soft and smooth and you know, marshmallowy. Upon immediate application, pores are instantly blurred out and skin is mattifed. It has a very pretty finish where powder does not cling to any dry patches. As for the wear time of the powder, it would stay matte for a good 5 hours before I start seeing the first sign of oil seeping through. Powder does well for touch ups and doesn't cake up. However I realize that after I touch up with the powder, I can feel it sitting on my face for the rest of the day which is slightly annoying. Around the 7-8 hour mark of wearing the powder, the areas under my eye would start to crack slightly from dryness. But overall I still enjoy using this powder, mainly cause it blurs out my large pores!

Pros
-Super matte finish
-Minimises appearance of pores
-Powder blurs and smooths skin instantly
-Have some decent coverage
-Does not cling onto dry patches on face
-Skin stayed matte for 5 hours before oil starts seeping through

Cons
-Feels slightly drying on the skin
-Feels slightly heavy on skin.

Yes!
I'm rather impressed with the Canmake base products I have tried.

P.S If you are looking for a high coverage dewy foundation, you can try out this Canmake BB Serum Foundation. Read my review on it here

Mac Mineralized Skin Finish Natural Review

Hey ya'll! Today's review will be on the Mac Mineralized Skin Finish Natural powder.
This is a rather well-known pressed powder from Mac which is known for its natural finish.
I am very eager to review this product and offer some opinions on how I feel about it.

Bought at Duty Free Airport at $45.50, 10g

-Perfect for contouring face and body
-For a wide variety of skin tones
-Features a 7- Mineral Complex
-Dermatologist tested
-Non-acnegenic

Sleek black matte packaging with mirror inside.

You can see the marble effect on the powder as it has a mineralized finish.

I allowed the sales consultant the counter to choose my shade and I think she hit it quite spot on.
(Ps: There are a total of 18 shades to choose from)

Here is how my skin looks with foundation and concealer, prior to setting.

Here is how it looks after setting lightly with the powder.
As you can see, the powder is not super mattifying and the dewiness of foundation underneath is still peeking through.

I really like the finish as it is not too matte on the skin hence the healthy glow is still showing.
Additionally, my face no longer feels sticky from the foundation so that's a thumbs up.

After 7 hours, my skin has gone slightly oilier but the overall foundation has yet to melt, and it stayed perfectly intact. (No touch ups)

I personally feel that this is a great pressed setting powder if you are looking for a powder to set your foundation but wants to retain the slight dewy look. This is a really natural powder that does not cake at all and it does not cling onto dry patches either. I am in love with the semi-matte finish that it gives. I think it sets my makeup pretty well and my makeup lasted the whole day without fading.

Pros
-Natural finish
-Soft powder
-Does not cake up on the face
-Gives face a semi matte look which does not look too flat
-Does not cling onto dry patches.

Cons
-Does not provide high coverage
-Does not control shin
-Magnetic packaging is a little difficult to open.
-Expensive

Normal Skin Type: -Recommended-
*If you like a semi-matte natural looking finish to your look, you will enjoy this powder a lot.

Combination Skin Type: -Recommended-
*I have combination skin and I love this powder! I think it helps set my makeup as I have slightly oilier areas on my face yet still allow some glow to peak through.

Oily Skin Type: -Not Recommended-
*As this is a rather semi-matte powder so oil your face will get oily by mid day as it does not set completely matte. Hence if you are someone who wants to keep your oil at bay, you might want to skip on this.

Dry Skin: -Recommended-
*This will be a great powder for you as it does not cling onto dry patches and is not completely matte like most powders.

Very Dry Skin: -Not Recommended-
*If you have really dry skin, it is best that you don't set your foundation at all as any powder might emphasize on very dry patches. However if you really want to set your makeup, you can still use this but with a very light hand.

Yes
I heard that alot of people use this as a bronzer as well so I will surely be trying that out as well!

"A great powder to set your face naturally without looking too matte or cakey."
