Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Review

Hey ya'll! Today's review will be on the Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner. This is a Japanese brand which is rather well-known for their eye liners and mascaras.

So as you can see this product is supposed have a waterproof formula.

It has a really dense brush tip applicator.

Here is one layer of product depending on how it is used.
Hence you can see that it is able to create thick likes as well as fine precise lines.

It comes in 2 shades: Black and Brown.

So as this is a supposed waterproof eye liner, I will be putting it through a long day of sweat and rain to see how it holds up!

So here is the initial state of my cat winged liner. It looks perfectly intact and fresh! Ready for the challenge!

A check in after a long walk (5.5km) including a lot of sweating and some tears.
The weather is darn humid and there was barely any wind.

After another stretch in the sun and endless walking. The eyeliner seem to hold up really well and have not smudged or disappeared at all.

Since it was rushing busy day, I didn't manage to take another photo to end off the day. 
Basically the rest of the day continued with another 2.5km of humid trekking and being splashed by the rain and constantly sweating through the entire process.
I am very very happy to say that the eye liner stayed on perfectly intact. Looking as fresh as when it was first applied. It did not smudge at all.
 I am so impressed!

My experience with this liquid liner have always been only positive and nothing short. This is a seriously waterproof eye liner which can withstand the most humid of weathers. It did not smudge at all on me which is such a bonus as a lot of eyeliners tend to do that. I have nothing but good tings to say about this eyeliner. So if you are looking for something you know will stay looking exactly the same when you first applied it. This is i right here. It is so waterproof you do not have to worry. 
I should try swimming with this soon.

Beauty Cottage Defined by Art Auto Eyebrow & Eyeliner Review

Hey ya'll! Today's review will be on the Beauty Cottage's Defined by Art Auto Eyebrow & Eyeliner! 

Beauty Cottage is a Thailand brand and I bought this product during my Bangkok trip.

So as the name suggests, this is supposed to be used as both a eyebrow pencil as well as a eyeliner. 

So I will be testing the product out for these two functions ad see how they work.

Dual ended with pencil and spoolie.

Here is how the product looks like swatched. You can go light handed with it or build up colour.

So here is how the product work through as both a eyebrow pencil and eye liner.

-Eyebrow Pencil-

This photo here is how my brow looks after walking 5 km in the hot sun.

Brows look as good as new, nothing smeared or moved.

Here is a update after another 2.5 Km in the hot sun.

Still perfectly intact to me!

-Eyeliner Pencil-

This is how the eyeliner looks like 2 hours after a casual walk. The eyeliner can still be clearly seen however I find it to be fading off slightly and looks rather light.

From afar I feel that it does not seem to be defining m eyes well due to its light colour.

After 5 hours, I think the eyeliner survived really well by not smudging or rubbing off. 

But you can clearly see that it lightened through the course of the day.

Eyebrow Pencil: Upon initial usage, I found the texture slightly too creamy as a eyebrow pencil for me. Making the application process slippery and too messy. It smeared easily through the day as well. 

However I found a way to use this product, so that it stays in put and do not bulge through heat and sweat.

That is, to powder down the brow prior application. This made the application so much smoother and I can get so much more control over the shape. It also lasted a lot longer and did not move through the day.

Eye Liner Pencil: I personally did not like using this as a eyeliner. Although application was easy and smooth,

I found the shade too light of a brown to be a eyeliner. The eyeliner did not disappear through the day, however it tends to fade into a even lighter shade of brown causing the eyes to look tired by mid-day. 

However if you like a good brown pencil eyeliner, I think this would be a great liner to try. You might want to get a darker shade in case it fades though the day.

-Fades through the day if used as eyeliner (get a darker shade)
