MAC 217 Blending Brush Review

Hi ya'll! Today's review will be on the ever so notorious MAC 217 Blending Brush.
Haven't heard of this brush before? That's alright I will give you a simple breakdown.
This is the most popular MAC brush, the most talked about eye shadow brush and a holy grail for so many.
So I went for the craze over this brush and finally picked one up as well. As this is one (extremely) expensive brush, lets see if it's really worth the purchase.

Selling at Mac counters at $41
*Singapore Changi Airport selling at $31

A brush for the shading or blending of powdery or creamy products.

The brush comes in a oval shaped and made of goat hair.

The brush is pinched in at the ferule giving it different dimension depending on how you use the brush.

The brushes are soft and feel extremely comfortable when used. No prickly feeling at all.

It is rather dense but still allows for enough movement for blending out shadows.

I am so glad I went ahead and tried this brush! This is by far my favorite eye shadow brush for blending.
It has the perfect shape fitting right into the crease giving it a seamless blend. I enjoy this brush so much I had to pick up another 1 from Changi Airport (about $10 savings!)

Pros
-Soft and does not prick skin
-Blend shadows out like a dream
-A great size for Asian eyes
-Able to use for crease and eyelid
-Perfect shape
-Does not shed after washing

Cons
-It is way too expensive for a brush

*I recommend this to makeup junkies who are willing to invest in a good eye shadow brush.

*For those just starting off your makeup journey, I would say you do not need this. There are many other eye shadow brushes out there at a more affordable price which are of good quality as well. So you may want to try those before investing in a really expensive one.
