The Thayers Original Witch Hazel Toner Review

Hey guys! Today's review will be on The Thayers Original Witch Hazel Toner.

Here comes the backstory of why I decided to buy this toner in the first place.
For several months back, I have been having 'little bumps on my face' also known as Milla.
The cause of Milla forming is due to our dead skin cells getting trapped underneath the skin's surface. Hence won't the best way be to exfoliate you might say. Well I tried exfoliating for a while but it did not seem to make them go away.
So I looked up online for a cure and everyone on forums recommended this Witch Hazel which I have little knowledge about. So onto research about this Witch Hazel!

So let me spare you the theory class and summarize this real fast.
Witch Hazel is a Flower.
It has many benefits for face, itch, hair, stretch marks, sunburn, chickenpox blisters and more.

But since today's target is my face's Milla, I will be reviewing how useful is this in helping reduce my Milla and it's other benefits.

Selling on Carosell at $12, 355ml

-Non-Distilled extract from the Witch Hazel shrub
-Alcohol Free
-Cleanse, tone and soothe your skin

Apply with cotton pad to cleanse, soften, refresh and moisturize skin.
Use anytime through the day as a softening refresher.

Since my main concern was my milla when I purchased this item. I used it mainly to see if it was effective in clearing the bumps on my face.
I have to say, I did not find it effective in doing so. It did not worsen my skin, however did not improve it either.

However I really enjoyed using this toner for its soothing and hydrating purpose. This toner does not leave your skin feeling tight after usage and really helps with redness as well. If you are someone with dry or sensitive skin, this is something you might want to look at.

Pros
-Very gentle (alcohol free)
-Soothes irritated skin
-Very hydrating
-Reduces redness
-Price point

Cons
-Does not help reduce milla

Normal Skin: -Recommended
It is always better to use a toner which is hydrating and alcohol free. If you are looking for a toner just to balance your skin and hydrate, this will be an affordable and good buy.

Combination Skin: -Not Recommended-
As a person with combination skin type, I felt that this toner is more suited for drier skin types. I found myself really enjoying this when experiencing drier, flakier areas on my face. However i do not think it managed to help do anything much for my T-Zone.

Oily Skin: -Not Recommended-
This product will help reduce sensitivity and soothe skin. However if you have oily skin, you may not like how this product feel on the face and you may get oilier faster through the day.

Dry Skin: -Recommended-
Two thumbs up for this product if you have dry skin. This product will work great for you. Upon application your face will be instantly hydrated and feels less tight and ready for our next skincare.

Very Dry Skin: -Recommended-
For flaky dry areas, you can soak the cotton pad with the product and leave it on like a mask would until the cotton pad is dry. It will also help reduce redness around drier areas.

Will I Repurchase
No

I would want to find a toner more suitable for my combination skin type.
