Olive Young
" CJ Olive Young is Korea's no. 1 Health & Beauty Store 
offering various items from skincare, cosmetics
 to supplements and food. They have 
approximately 950+ outlets in Korea. "

My thoughts:
Olive Young offers a wide range of brands and have sooo many outlets in Korea. Although their flagship stores are bigger, I feel like there is not much difference in products compared to the regular store. Compared to Lalavla (read more below), their promotions are not as attractive.

Lalavla

" GS Retail has rebranded Korea's Watsons,

 renaming it Lalavla to appeal 

to it's younger target audience."

My thoughts:

Lalavla is hands down our favorite store to visit in Korea. We would walk out with a bag everytime we enter. I personally feel like you can get the best deals here as there are various different promotions going on each week. A must visit store!

Aland

" Aland houses various unique products, 

from clothings, accessories to 

makeup, skincare and daily use items."

My thoughts:

Aland is quite an interesting to visit as it carries various different unique brands. They have many rare clothing brands which look very trendy but rather expensive($50-$200+). They do have Cosrx, Klairs, Hemish & more unique Korean brands. Do give this store a visit, thumbs up!

Lotte elCUBE

" Adopting a different concept, Lotte elCUBE 
focuses on the younger audience based
on beauty, fashion and lifestyle."

My thoughts:

A must visit place for young adults. They house brands like April Skin, 3CE, Medicube & others on the 1st floor. They also had a decent size area selling Kpop items (cd, posters, merchandise) and there were sales too!

The outlet at Ewha also had a Star101 clothing store in B1 and a stationary store (KaoKao & Line was there too!) on the 2nd level. 

*Do note that the Lotte elCUBE in Hongdae has been remodeled to become a store specifically for games and is now called Lotte elCUBE game.

My thoughts:

An awesome place for cheap deals! You can find Medihal mask here for 700won per pice, making it 7000 won per box. I would recommend you check this store out especially for masks! They doalso sell many other items from different brands, all at a discounted price.

CHIRCOR

"Korea's Sephora?"

My thoughts:

Chircor is a place that if you have a Sephora in your own country, you won't want to visit. They carry western brands like Urban Decay and also Korean brands which can be found in other stores (eg: Olive Young). I was quite disappointed with the visit but do understand why Koreans will flock here as there is no Sephora in Korea.
