MY RHINOPLASTY EXPERIENCE

Hey Ya'll! :)
Today's post is a slightly different one as I will be sharing with ya'll my Nose Job Experience.

Procedure done:
NOSE JOB/RHINOPLASTY: Insert silicon implant to heighten nose bridge

Reason I wanted to get a nose job:
I wanna look prettier? (lol am i too honest)

So the clinic that i will be going is a rather popular one in Malaysia. Yes, you heard me right. I'll be getting my nose done in Malaysia (stay tune for details at end of post)

Day of Surgery:

Shall we take a look at me pre-surgery.

So we drove over to JB where the clinic is and I had my first consultation with the doctor.
After a 30 minutes consultation, we proceeded with the surgery.
My rhinoplasty procedure is a simple one which takes less than 30 minutes, that's because  all that's going to happen is that the doctor will cut open a small part of my nose to insert the L-shape silicon.

The big question: Is it painful?
Well to answer this question in one word, I'll actually say YES.
It was painful to a certain extent and I ain't going to lie about that.

So you might ask which part of the surgery did it hurt the most?
Here it gets more positive. It ONLY hurt during the insertion of the anesthesia)
Because once the drug kicks in, your entire nose will be numb. Like dead numb. You won't be feeling any pain after that.

So does this mean that you won't feel anything at all?
You will still feel something moving if you're awake (it doesn't hurt as all). But i won't say the feeling isn't the most delightful.

Was I asleep during the procedure?
No I wasn't. Well you can choose to be asleep but i didn't see a need as it was such a short procedure (plus i wanted to witness every moment lol).

So does that mean it will hurt once the anesthesia wears off?
Of course, you just got cut in the nose. It will hurt. But that can be prevented easily. Once you start feeling even the littlest bit of discomfort, pop a pain killer. You can keep doing so moderately.

How long will the pain last before wearing off?
2/3 days later- No more pain (while not touching it)
2 weeks later- No more pain (when touching)

Recovery:
1st week

So before I spam all the photos for your reference, I shall share more on how this week went for me.

IT SUCKED

A LOT

You may be thinking, Why? Did the nose job fail? I assure you that ain't the case.

The Truth about recovery:

CRAZY SWELL + EMOTIONALLY UNPREPARED
= SUCKY WEEK

I went ahead doing this surgery with a casual mindset, i didn't do much research or any preparation for downtime.
Let's be honest, recovery sucks. It really does.
