Glamskin Papaya and Grapefruit Brightening Cream Review

Today's review will be another product which was sent to me by CHARIS~ #CHARIS #Charisceleb If you haven't heard about CHARIS yet, they are a platform which sells mainly Korean Skincare and Makeup Products. This platform reaches out internationally to all y'all Korean loving junkies out there. 

So today's review will on the Glamskin Papaya and Grapefruit Brightening Cream. Which most people would just refer to as a instant whitening cream. Since I have always struggled with dull skin I'm quite excited to try this product out and see how it performs. And just a spoiler,

Here is how it looks slightly blended out. It doesn't go on heavy at all. As you can see, it blends out to a sheerer more watery texture.

And here is how it looks blended out completely, It brightens the skin making it look less dull yet still looking so natural!

It didn't leave the skin feeling tacky either!

So here is my bare skin with just some basic skincare prior to application

Using a very generous amount of  product as it doesn't clog my pores or cake at all

Blended out super easily! Skin tone brightened instantly without feeling tacky or heavy at all!

Dull skin has always been one of my biggest concern. I have really yellowish dull skin tone which is definitely not flattering at all. I have known of these instant whitening products since a while back, especially those really popular ones from Thailand and Korea. I personally have always found those products to be gimmicky hence never picked them up. I didn't want my face and body to be totally different colours nor did i want to rub cream all over my body. So when Charis sent the Glamskin Papaya and Grapefruit Brightening Cream over, I was initially quite hesitant to give it a go. But when I tried I was actually very pleasantly surprised.

The texture of the cream was really light and even moisturizing. Unlike the others which I had tried out in stores, this one wasn't in anyway heavy or drying. 

I also totally dig the fact that it did not mess up my skincare underneath it and the makeup above. It didn't start rolling into small balls nor did it start caking on my face.

Another pro was that it actually also provided a slight bit of moisture and coverage for the skin. I think it'll be great for people who have clear skin but just need that boost of brightening.

Lastly why I like this product is because it doesn't make me white or lighten my skin tone by 3 shades. It just gets rid of my dull complexion and brighten up the skin in a very natural way.

-gets removed by sweat if used alone without makeup

All Skin Types: -Recommended-

I recommend this to everyone out there who are facing dullness issue or just simply want to brighten up their overall complexion instantly. Since it's main purpose is to brighten, I would say it meets its claims. It also has a bit of moisture for those drier skin types although I would definitely recommend the use of moisturizer apart from this. It also doesn't clog pores as it is light weight hence its suitable for even acne prone skin.

I think it replaces my previous Makeup forever blue correcting primer to give my face that light!
