The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick Review

Hey ya'll! Today's review will be on The Balm Meet Matt(e)Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick.
Many reviews mention this being one of the most comfortable liquid lipstick there is in the market and so I'm here to give you my thoughts on it!

They have a total of  12 shades to choose from, ranging from nudes, pinks, plums and reds.



-Comfortable wear
-Matte finish

You can choose to go in straight with the liquid lipstick or line your lips for easier/more precise application.

Super pigmented and dries down real matt(e)!

Here is how it looks after it dries down. 
The applicator is super easy to use and you can have easy control of the sharp edges even without a lip liner.
I would not say that it is comfortable as I can still feel there is something sitting on my lips. But it is definitely not drying at all and does not sink into my lip lines.
Of course it is recommended for you scrub and moisturize your lips prior to application.

TIME FOR LUNCH!

So this is what I had for lunch and lets see if the lipstick held up.

You can see that the edges of the lipstick is already gone and even smudged but mostly still remained intact.
 However I could feel the layer of oil on my lips so I have to reapply.



Easy to reapply even in bad lighting!

Good as new!

So this is how the lipstick looks 5 hours after only reapplying ONCE after my lunch. Looks as good as new no?
I did have a couple of drinks throughout the day and the lipstick is still fully intact.

Overall I have had a rather pleasant experience. But I will not suggest you wear this lipstick thinking that it will not bulge through a hurricane lunch. But for a daily wear, I think it looks splendid and easy to work with.

*As this is still a liquid lipstick and it is their nature to be on the dry side, I would recommend you scrub and moisturize those lips very well before puckering them up for some goodness.
