St.Ives Pink Lemon & Mandrin Orange Scrub Review

Hey ya'll! Today's review will be on the St.Ives Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub.

St.Ives are quite known for the variety of scrubs they have at an affordable price. 

Do you know the main purpose of using a facial scrub?

Here are the reasons listed down:

1.Removes ingrain dirt

2.Improves skin texture

3. Increase skin cells turn over rate

4.Slow down skin aging

So you can see how crucial it is to have a facial scrub in your skincare routine. So lets see if this scrub is wort the buy.

Selling in Guardian Pharmacy at $9.90, 170g

However I bought this scrub at $5.90 only! 

The store I got this from is called 'Zhen Tat Enterprise' located at Vista Point.

They also carry other brands sold at a lower price. If you are interested, the shop's unit number is #01-36, just beside the Giant Supermarket.

Or you could also wait for sales like "3 for 2" that Guardian sometimes have.

Can I just say how much I adore this packaging. So clean and neat and cute.

It does not say on the website and product how often can this product be used.

Scrubs are usually recommended to be used only 1-2 times every week.

However as you can see the exfoliation factor is at a moderate level, hence it is not a very harsh scrub. 

I left a red stain of lipstick on the back of my hand and I will be seeing if the scrub will help remove it.

I have been using this product for 3 weeks now and here is my experience with it.
I use this scrub once a day, either in the morning or at night. However if you have sensitive skin or if you do not see the need to scrub your face daily, you can always do you when you deem necessary. 
The texture of the scrub is very gentle as the beads are coated with the nourishing paste. It does not strip my face of its moisture or exfoliate too much leaving the skin sensitive. 
The scrub was unable to help remove the little bumps on my skin surface (millas), however was able to help my scarring/ dark spots fade faster. My favourite thing about this scrub is the instantly brightening effect that it gives upon washing.

Pros

-Not stripping skin of moisture

-Skin feels super clean and bright

-Helped even out skin tone with time
-Gentle and can be used daily

Cons

-Beads get stuck in my eye 

-Does not help unclog pores

All Skin Types: -Recommended-
*If your skin leans towards being more sensitive, then you can choose to use this scrub 1-2 times a week. However if you are someone looking for a good everyday scrub, this is a good choice as well.
*NOTE: If you are some one with inflamed skin, you might want to stay away from physically exfoliating your skin before it is recovered.

Will I Repurchase
Yes.
 This is my current favourite scrub!
